Four Case Reports on Treatment of elevated aminotransferase levels with Herbal medicine containing Artemisia capillaris as Principal Component

Background: Many herbal medications have been used to treat various liver diseases. But the concerns of medicine induced injury also existed. In this respect, we would like report several cases with imporved elevated aminotransferase after treating including Artemisia capillaris. Case Reports: We four patients levels (ATLs), which indicate hepatocellular damages. After receiving medicines therapy containing capillaris as principal component (HMA), patients` ATLs were improved. first case, patient`s decreased into normal range administration HMA, although they not improved hepatotonics for a long period. second taking anticoagulants. The HMA without stopping other two cases, HMA. addition, there no changes previous drugs corresponding underlying diseases and adverse events during applications.
